The Mustang Geek Ford Godzilla VCT Tool Kit is a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for removing, installing, and modifying the VCT (Variable Camshaft Timing) setup on 7.3L gas Ford Godzilla engines without breaking the bank. The kit includes a VCT holding spanner, VCT socket, VCT disassembly tool, and hardware to take the guesswork out of swapping cams on a Godzilla engine.
Clamp the spanner in a vice to hold the VCT sprocket when installing a VCT travel limiter. Handy! Mustang Geek
The Ford VCT solenoid requires the special included VCT Socket for removal for the VCT fastener (Ford calls it a “control valve.” The VCT control valve is not reusable after removal. New valves are available Ford as P/N H6BZ-6C570-B).
The kit comes wth extensive instructions for not only using the tool, but the engine timing procedure and torque specifications.
Includes a VCT Holding Spanner that’s precision laser-cut from mild steel and hardware to anchor the spanner to the block for sprocket R&R
Spanner can be used for VCT disassembly and reassembly (to install a VCT travel limiter, for example) when held in a vice
