The Mustang CarpetSaver bracket stops the floor mats from slipping toward the pedals on 1979-1993 Mustangs and prevents the floor mat retaining hook from ripping the carpet on 1994-2004 Mustangs!
1979-1993 Mustangs: Over time the floor mat slides toward the pedals. It’s annoying! The Mustang CarpetSaver bracket anchors the floor mat to the seat stud to keep it from moving. Either drill a 17/64” hole in your existing mats, or use 1994-2004 Mustang mats. Problem solved!
1994-2004 Mustangs: Entering and exiting the vehicle makes the floor mat pull on the retaining hook in the carpet, and over time the stress on the carpet tears it. If you look at the carpet of a well-used 1994-2004 Mustang, the carpet is already torn…or will be soon!
