The Mustang Geek Stoppy-da-Sloppy Solid Shift Handle Mount Kit uses cone-shaped shifter handle bushings to securely center the shifter handle. Eliminating the OEM rubber handle isolator is a common modification on OEM and aftermarket shifters, but traditional “stepped” solid shifter bushings can get loose and sloppy over time. This is because their stepped shape relies on the friction between the handle and the shifter lever to avoid slipping.
